I agree.  I think that every school should have at least one trained/vetted staff member who conceal carries.  It could be a math teach, a clinic nurse, a music teacher, an administrative assistant...Maybe the person could be a former police officer, FBI or military.

This what they do in Colorado. I strongly disagree with it, because the teachers know who carries and that surely changes the relstionship they have together. Plus it's highly unlikely that teacher would be able to take down a shooter, and highly likely there might be an accident instead.[/quote]

I think that the concealed carry should be kept confidential.  Certainly, a former police officer or FBI agent would be able to keep that information to themselves.

Teachers sitting around in the break room chatting about who "gets" to wear a gun at work or who should be avoided at work because they are carrying would not be an ideal situation.[/quote]
