Personally, I would take a baggie and fill it with a few pieces for each kid. If the money comes after the tooth fairy has arrived, put it in your pocket. Yay! Problem solved. For gifts and clothes, just go through them and give your kids what you want to give them. Donate the rest or put it on a shelf for another day. What has worked as our kids have gotten older is to tell grandparents one thing the kid would like and then ask for money for "their college fund".
