This. I’m liberal, and in general I don’t have a problem with FFX detaining people for a reasonable anount of time for ICE— 48 hours for example (not indefinite).  It’s how long the feds can detain before a PC hearing.

But the ICE overreach in FFX Co is not acceptable. I do not want ICE in my kids schools, in hospitals, places of worship, and other such places. And if MS-13 is such a menace in FFX County, why isn’t ICE targeting them specifically?  Why profile people at 7-11?  Fuck Trump and Fuck ICE. Someone needs to push back. Under the constitution, local law enforcement has zero obligation to cooperate. If ICE is going to push the boundaries of what is acceptable, I’m glad my community is pushing back. [/quote]
