They could have an actual emergency that takes precedence over your elective wisdom teeth removal. The doctor could be sick. Or have a family emergency. The office equipment may not be working. The building may have a water/heating issue. Rescheduling for any of these reasons is not unprofessional. It's life. [/quote]
