at the school i'm at, bringing a nintendo switch in a backpack is very popular (many boys do) - and when they get it out, all the girls want to play mario kart.

Yes, there are several girls on my DS's Discord group.

I think a lot of people don't fully appreciate the range of activities that fall under "gaming." If you are picturing some overweight dullard on a couch mindlessly shooting aliens for 12 hours, you are way out of touch.[/quote]

Can you describe the range of games to me? Or at least the ones you like?

So, it sounds like for my socially awkward son it'd be good to introduce him to that world, to be more social. But he also is a little like someone on the spectrum, and gets really focused and obsessed about his interests.. and thus I assume could likely have a hard time moderating his use. That is my concern, anyway.
