You could probably get in faster with someone who doesn't accept insurance but otherwise I'd call around and see who takes your insurance/if it is covered. As for meeting the AAP deadline, I don't know what to tell you. It's too late now to get a NP in time but unless you have some other reason to believe your child belongs in AAP (in level II now, AART or teacher says it would be a good fit) I would focus on going what he needs at this time.
