No. Often my dog will poop along the pipestem I live on, on the way out for a long walk. You want me to carry a bag of poop for 2 miles round trip vs. leaving it and picking it upon return? Sure. My poop bags are colorful and I see them upon return. That doesn't make me lazy. Why would I walk around 2 miles with a smelly bag of poop when I know I will retrieve it on my way back to my house.
If your dog poop is near your house at the beginning of a long walk, you take the poop back to your house, dispose of it there, and then cut your long walk slightly shorter. There is no excuse for leaving your dog’s poo in someone else’s yard for any amount of time. You may forget it’s there or they may step in it by mistake.
+1 pp, if you don't want to carry your dog's poop, you should not have gotten a dog. Leaving it for any length of time is irresponsible.

What is with the eye rolls? I don't care if you plan to be back in 20 minutes or two hours, I don't want to deal with that poop bag being near my front yard until you decide to come and pick it up. Even if it is five minutes, that may be the five minutes that my young child is playing out there and may step on the bag. It is your job to carry or dispose of it right away, just like I do for my dog.
