NFCU is doing great things, but at the end of the day they are there to promote their business, however benevolently they may be doing it. Having an assembly dedicated to them is crossing the line in my opinion, or at the very least cringe inducing as you said. I see that they buy teachers lunch and pay for some of their continuing education activities, so its starting to muddy the waters and get into some grey areas. I think the staff at Thoreau is well liked and maybe that's why some are sensitive to a little criticism and the first reaction is defensive.[/quote]
