Except that doesn't describe Governor Hogan in the least bit.  He has stayed out of the fray and minded his own business, which is running the state of Maryland.  I know many on the left want him to denounce the President, but that really has nothing to do with his role as Governor and would only serve a political purpose, something he has intentionally avoided.[/quote]

Hogan has denounced the president on certain occasions, like after the violence in Charlottesville.
During the primaries he spoke out against Trump and later he said that he would not vote for him in November (although based on his statements it seem like he didn't vote for Clinton either).
