Backing up to this post, because I’ve been in your shoes two years in a row. If your master number is so low that you don’t get into Peabody IB, then you almost certainly will not get into the other DCPS on your list either (none of those have more than a handful of OB spots). You may get into ATLP but it is not a safety so don’t count on it. You need to add Tyler, AT SW and AT OK, if you want to be reasonably confident of getting in somewhere.  [/quote]

It may seem depressing but the years go by quickly and you will find a situation that works for you on the Hill if you are open minded.  We have friends with kids at a wide variety of PK programs (public, public charter and private) all over the Hill and basically everyone is happy with where they are. [/quote]
