Lol, Melania did NOT marry well.
Say what you will about Trump - I myself am no fan - but yes, she did. She became a millionaire and an American citizen and she and all of her family will be taken care of forever. Which is a whole hell of a lot more than other Balkan/Eastern Bloc models who went to New York to make it can say.
Slovenia is a wonderful country. I had the pleasure of spending another year living in Trieste, an Italian city a few miles from Slovenia. My friends and I drove by Melania's house from childhood once afternoon for fun, and I have spent tons of time in Slovenia. It is a well-running, manicured, beautiful country, and her childhood home is bigger than yours.
     "I've conveniently lived exactly one year in every country mentioned on this thread and sometimes cross international borders to drive past the homes of third-rate models with my many friends who also don't know how to plan a decent day trip in the Mediterranean. Now I will appeal to the false authority I've so plausibly constructed in this very comment to make a series of ridiculous assertions."
 so true
OMG if I was going to make up a lie about something it would be a lot more glamorous than the crappy postdocs I followed my husband for around Europe.
I am sorry for the snark you got for mentioning traveling in Slovenia. Slovenia and the other Balkan countries are now very popular tourist destinations. Slovenia is one of the better ones as it basically avoided the 90s Balkan War and is European Union. As for Melania, it probably wasn’t too great when Slovenia was part of the former Yugoslavia. I’m sure you have lots of great memories and experiences from your travels. Trieste is an interesting city.
You should stop replying to yourself.
