UMDCP is easily accessible in the minds of pretty much every high school and as the statistics show LOTS apply there even if they're not qualified. Whereas Edinburgh and Toronto aren't really schools that many students are applying to (or even know about)- especially not average/poor students - so the numbers look better. I bet if 1971 MoCo students applied to Edinburgh and Toronto...there wouldn't be a 67%/63% acceptance rate...[/quote]
