[/quote] My advice was going to be that when you start getting upset about plans falling through, just forget him and go on with your day as if he was not in the picture. I am divorced with kid and I have had some dates that got me riled up because they were late getting back to me to nail down a time for the night. If I start to feel upset, I decide to do what I would do on that night. Go to bed, go to dinner alone, go take a walk. If things work out, then that's great. If not, I didn't let myself sit there and feel sorry for myself. That said, as I have gotten older, I have less time alone and I need more. So sometimes I leave dates hanging a bit. I need more time to eat and decompress. I try to communicate, ask for that time. I was 10,minutes late a month ago, because I just needed that time. I texted when I was getting myself out the door.[/quote]
