I grew up in an immigrant family, and didn't have any of that extended family fun, and I'm so grateful that my kids have it. Plus on a practical note, hosting is a ton of work, especially to put together good holiday meals and have a lot of people sleeping at your house. Count me super happy to go to the grandparents--one day they will not be around, and we won't have that option.[/quote]
