There is NOTHING to fix. If someone is here illegally, they are subject to deportation and they have no right to amnesty. End of story!
If there's nothing to fix, why do people keep complaining about it?
Who are the people that keep complaining about it? It is the Hispanic lobby and Democrats who want to pander to them that keep the issue on the front burner. It works well for the Democrats with Hispanics which is why they have voted 70% in favor of Democrats in the last two presidential elections but what does not seem to register with Democrats is that in much of middle America people feel that those illegally in the country have no right to be here. Yes, in California and NY and some of the states with large Hispanic populations, it is an issue that plays well. Personally, the only group I have some measure of sympathy for are the DACA kids because they did not come here of their own volition but there is little doubt that if something is done for them, the next demand will be for their parents to be granted amnesty and thereafter others will demand the same.
The people who complain about "the illegals!!!!" and "anchor babies!!!!" on every electronic opportunity for comment, whether or not it has anything to do with immigration.
