I can't recommend New Hope Academy in Landover Hills enough.  The early childhood education there is top notch and there a strong family atmosphere.  There's also lots of extracurriculars that students can take advantage of early on (dance, martial arts, etc.) and they integrate these into the day so you don't even have to make a special trip somewhere else!  The school goes all the way to 12th grade, but I can't speak to the standard grades.  For pre-k and K you really can't ask for a better education and at such an affordable cost. I agree that PK was great at New Hope. From there it got to be a bit much for my child. A lot of the elementary classes were combined due to low enrollment (ie. 3rd and 4th grades combined) and there was a ton of homework (minimum 45m night for my 2nd grader.) But Ms. Kim and Ms. Mary in PK were amazing with my daughter and have her a great PK experience.[/quote]
