If they are spending most of their income on childcare and a mortgage for a normal house hey can't afford any of the luxuries that one associatesnwith being wealthy, such as luxury cars, private school, expensive vacations, etc. If I didn't tell you the income but described a family that spent most of their income on an average house and childcare would you call them wealthy?
