I cannot stand it when someone brings a dog into a public library to "read" stories with the young children then gets overstimulated by too much noise & unpredictable movement, then barks to say he wants a breather. And the dog handler continues keeping the dog inside where it may bark again. The handler should give the dog breaks outside since children can be a handful. No parent should have to leave the library over a dog!
Go away. A dog barked. Get over it. Your kid was probably being a brat. I'm sure they've never had a scream, yell, or squeal in public, right? The vast majority of dog owners do not do the things describes. And if you don't like dogs at a restaurant, don't go to that restaurant. I don't like screaming kids, so I don't go to Chuck E. Cheese. Get it, OP?
Um, the PP was talking about a LIBRARY, not a restaurant. The dog she encountered was in a library. Read more carefully next time. I saw your other post on the dog in the library, PP, and I am with you on that one. The dog owner in the library was extremely unreasonable, and you should be able to take your kid to a public library with the expectation that you will not be worried by a dog. You should not have to avoid libraries just because you don't want a dog barking at your baby.
Yeah, and OP was talking about dogs at restaurants. See how this reading carefully thing works? If you spend so much time in a library you should be able to do it by now.
No, sweetie. No. The poster I quoted, and to whom I was responding, had likewise quoted and responded to a poster who was discussing a dog in a library. Close reading :)
