To be fair, many on here were little during the 80's. Their view of Barry and the district are swayed by that. But yeah. History is a good thing to learn! For real.[/quote]
People don't know or realize that Barry was responsible for desegregating MPD, which has been critically important for this city. If he hadn't done that, the MPD would probably be similar to Baltimore police, which is something I think all residents are glad that we don't have. MPD have their faults, but man oh man it could be so much worse and it isn't thanks to Barry.[/quote]
