Michele Rhee was the worst.  City services were not great.  He was arrogant. He gave many many contracts to his developer friends.  [/quote]
Ward 5 resident here... Adrian Fenty may not have been the most personable Mayor, or friendly but he was a good Mayor for Ward 5.  He was very responsive to our needs and personally saw to it that police presence was increased.  Playgrounds were rehabbed or built. The MBT was developed and he continued the progress that Mayor Williams made toward bringing more retail businesses to our ward.  Crime dipped significantly and Mayor Fenty was always available to hear how things were going.  He personally responded to my emails and followed-up every time.

I didn't want to be his friend.  I didn't care that he didn't speak to me in passing or when I saw him at random events.  What mattered to me as a voter and constituent, was that he was interested in the well-being of my Ward.[/quote]
