OP, unless you care what these "people in north Arlington and McLean" (whose kids are not going to Marshall anyway) supposedly think, based on...nothing, please ignore this person and his or her weird grudge. The earlier post about the quality of the teachers and administrators at Marshall is accurate. DC goes there and has had mostly excellent teachers and a very good experience so far. OP, since you kid is so young I'd focus on elementaries for now when getting a house. I agree with PPs saying the "forever home" idea may not be the way to go. [/quote]
