I don't like Trump, but I'm not in a state of panic either. I have lived through many things and survived. Everything seems bigger in the moment. Close the browser and stop reading alarmist news all day. Being able to stay calm and productive, despite some unpleasant things going on, comes from experience. As far as him "only" caring for you, his friends and family, all I can say is -- if everything is a priority, nothing is a priority. It sounds like he has his priorities in order.
If you are from the states, this is pretty alarming. I mean, if you come from a war torn country maybe you don't care. If you're a man, maybe you don't care. But truly, if you have read ANYTHING, you know that this man is an existential threat to our democracy. And even to our people after his foreign policy is over and done with. The 'wait and see' shit has really got me pissed. I'm sure tons of germans said that before the war.
