Research stats during summer - is it as intensive as the summer geometry? when would the registration be open?
Your kid has to be admitted first, so hold your horses. If they are admitted, then they can register for TJ summer pschool. They can't take just any FCPS online stats class. And it is much more intensive than summer Geometry. You are doing the equivalent of a semester of college level stats in 2 1/2 weeks. It's also a bad idea if your kid is not already very strong in stats. Lots of other TJ classes require that you have the TJ specific stats foundation. Which is why it is required your first semester, with no option to test out.
