Before you commit to business class, ensure your airline of choice offers a comfortable environment for the flight. All business classes are different- and 2500 is a lot of money. Research the seat types, space in between the seats and the total number of BC occupants, and compartmentation in BC (this affects restroom access and convenience and particularly cleanliness by the latter part of the flight, for instance). Just make sure you are happy with the conditions you expect to have with your flight. And safe travels!
Totally agree with this. You can research on seatguru. Having done both, on a lot of planes the business class seems like a bit of a scam. If you are careful with your selection of coach seats, you'll be as comfortable as in business class. If by business class, you get a lie-flat seat, it might be worth it, but otherwise I don't think it's worth it. The reality is that barring lie-flat seats, no modern commercial long-haul air travel is comfortable. It's an uncomfortable time no matter what.
