Maybe your ils are just making conversation. Ask dh to call them and just ask them not to bring I up because you're sensitive about it. I had an elderly neighbor who would tell me negative things about our house. I think she was trying to be helpful, we likely seemed like kids to her. But it bothered me and I never invited her over because of it. [/quote]
