Nope.  Both men and women who have secure attachment types seem to be attracted to the "fearful/avoidant" attachment types.  It's the age old story- you want what you can't have.  Hence why Brad Pitt gave up a good girl like Jennifer Aniston for Angelina Jolie the femme fatale, when he knew she would eventually break his heart.  It works on both men and women, and has nothing to do with being "alpha".  Unless men also prefer "alpha" women, which kind of throws your whole theory into the garbage.
