Second, no matter how perfect you want your daughter to be, it doesn't sound like you have any realistic idea of what she needs to do to meet your presumably rigorous academic expectations.  Like others have said, she's probably using them to stay awake so she can study for her exams, finish those term papers etc....and ultimately, to make you happy.

The fact that you want to go nuclear and confront her, and jump to all these crazy conclusions, makes me feel really bad for her.  Poor girl.[/quote]
