Of course she's pretty, OP. She makes her living from being pretty. Actresses don't tend to make it otherwise unless they're fat and/or funny so they can play the best friend, side kick. Joan Cusack--she's so pretty. Tina Fey--she's so pretty. Rosie O'Donnell--she's so pretty. Viola Davis--she's so pretty. Gabby Sidibe--she's so pretty.
I get your sarcasm, but TF is neither pretty ("let me talk about the scar I only talk about when I have something to promote") or funny.
I don't think you do understand my sarcasm. None of these women are known for being "pretty." TF only talks about the scar b/c people ask. It was pretty traumatic what happened to her: http://people.com/celebrity/tina-fey-reveals-trauma-behind-her-scar/ Michael Kenneth Williams (Omar from the Wire) gets asked about his scar in every interview I've heard as well.
I actually think Tina Fey and Viola Davis are quite pretty. But then I'm not quite so dismissive and demanding as others on this thread. I didn't know that was how TF's face was scarred. How awful.
I don't disagree with you. However, women who star as movie leads are either A. generally considered classically pretty (Keira Knightly, Emma Stone, Rachel McAdams) or B. fat/funny (Amy Schumer for example). Even the lead for the "ugly" girl is gorgeous, e.g.,: Sometimes Brits will put a female lead who is neither classically pretty, overweight, or known for being a comedienne, e.g., the lead for Persuasion I just find these posts particularly inane. Oh, so-and-so is SO pretty. Well, duh.
