The terrain in Iran is so challenging that we cannot afford to have troops on the ground, military analysts call is the mountain fortress. Same is the case in Afghanistan, that mountainous terrain has defeated armies bigger than ours. Also, In order to win we don’t need hubris, we need to be acutely aware of enemies strengths and plan accordingly and know when to exit. Strategy secures wins, not slogans and tv appearances.
