At least a couple of those are not parent coaches… they don’t even have kids. And at least one more has kids but doesn’t coach their team(s). I think PP meant that sometimes a parent is better than so called professionals and then used those names as an example. Can anyone help us clueless parents understand what good coaching looks like? I’m being serious. I try to stay out of the way and don’t have any frame of reference for soccer coaching. I kind of think even a good coach can only do so much with a mediocre talent pool. Likewise, a group of talented kids can make a mediocre coach look good. [/quote]
