I'm the PP you're quoting and I agree that being a petty thief doesn't justify your execution by the cops. But my point is -- if the community were so great and wholesome, of the last half dozen or so black men killed -- why wasn't there anyone with a clean record!? It's a community that thinks crime is ok, education and uplifting don't matter. I don't mean any single family, but the community as a whole.[/quote]

Because law abiding AAs don't run from cops or assault cops. They don't make the news because they don't end up arrested or dead. Simple.

The simple mindedness of this line of thinking is beyond astounding. To say that law abiding people do not run from cops is willfully stupid. 
To think that because someone has a criminal record justifies being killed by the police is even more willfully stupid. To think that all black people live in the same "community" is not just factually incorrect, it's also willfully stupid. But beyond that, to think that all black people are responsible for all other black folks they don't know, and are rightfully all looked at as the same, but at the same time saying that you cannot paint all white people and all cops with the same broad brush is again, willfully stupid.
