Most of those girl ECNL teams with MLSN boys were there from the beginning of ECNL and are grandfathered in. NVA was trying to maintain ECNL girls when the boys went MLSN but the league said no. [/quote]
There is no "grandfathering" clause.

They can bully clubs like South Carolina Surf into moving their girls to ECRL. But ECNL will have a hard time moving clubs like TopHat and STA that have very strong boys in ECNL and strong girls programs in GA.[/quote]

But I do like that you acknowledge that GA + MLSN have the power to shift things around if they want to. They just haven't started applying it yet.
