I think you are vastly over estimating how much Landon loss to graduation last year. Buller at attack and Shockey at FOGO are big losses for the BEARS. They lost one starting defenseman and their goalie and their LSM. Many would say the returning LSM this Spring, who is also a D1 football player, is much better than Fowler. The kid is a freak athlete. Landon returns two out three starting attackers, one being Epstein. They also return two starting defenders and two monster middies who started all last Spring. Landon's senior class is very talented where as Bullis senior class is rather weak. Bullis will have to rely upon their junior class to step up and lead the way. Being a highly touted club player, a top 50 Ty Xander prize recruit, doesn't always equate to success in high school lacrosse. . Club lacrosse is more or less a glorified pick up game. There is NO SCOUTING and hardly any special situations as the games are running clocks. I see Landon, Prep or Saint Stephens making it to the finals as all 3 teams have much deeper senior classes. 2019 will be Bullis' year though.
Bullis may have the best coaches in the league. Coaches that have coached and played at every level. Also they are what you may call coaches that understand kids. The staff has high school teachers and club coaches, an interesting mix. Also they have alumni coaches. Bullis will make a run in 2018 may even win it all. I agree many 2019 players are important in the Bullis line up but don't underestimate the smaller but very capable senior class. But only time will tell. Good analysis. While I agree with you Bullis brought in several key transfers, I don't see any senior leader on their roster who can carry this team. I also question how good of a coaching staff they have if they have compelled to recruit star players from other programs.
