But it is an apples to oranges comparison, because an expanded Reno Road would be a benefit to Maryland drivers. A community pool would be a benefit to the community. There are hundreds of these in Maryland and the city, outside of Ward 3, is dotted with outdoor pools. Why should the residents of Ward 3 have to pay to join a private pool or drive/commute to some other part of town to get some free exercise or relief from the brutal DC summers?[/quote]
