Because I'm pretty sure DGS/DCPS reached an agreement to build playspace on the NPS land contiguous to the school. They won't allow buildings/permanent structures on the land, but they will allows playspace (within certain parameters). This was announced in the summer. Not sure about the status of the negotiations over using the space across the street to play on during swing. [/quote]
