I'm not upset.  I clearly know my side and am comfortable with it.

But you can't seem to answer my question.  Why would God - who created us - dismiss an atheist?  You're clear that this is the case, which only solidifies in my mind that your God is controlling and judgmental - and an asshole, for that matter.

Funny, you don't seem comfortable with the idea that my imaginary deity would allow you to have the afterlife you feel is appropriate. You have plans for eternal blankness, I don't. No one is dismissing you.[/quote]

Well, here's my thinking.

If I die and it's "eternal blankness," I won't be disappointed - if I'm self-aware that is.  You, however, will be ETERNALLY disappointed as you float around looking for that heaven God promised you.
