Oh yes - one that spends more than $35K per full time student and boasts a 15% graduation rate.  In comparison, the DCPS seem stellar:

The university still has a lot of challenges but it's improved somewhat since the days when a lot of the faculty were political cronies of Mayor-for-Life Marion Barry and city council members.  They're even trying to rebrand themselves with the full University of the District of Columbia name, trying to shed the old "yoodeecee" references.

It's too bad that the university didn't move to the St. Elizabeth's site when they had the chance.  That would have made a beautiful campus.[/quote]
