Sure because everything everyone says is a fact on DCUM.  If you can't acknowledge that there is tons of overt and discrete racism on this board, then there is no point in debating.  Because on this board white means safe.  Wilson and Walls is the go to high school but 99% black Banneker doesn't even get a glance.[/quote]

Wilson is 46% black and 17% latino.   Anyone who considers Wilson a desirable school is not a bigot.  If you think they are, you are not living in the same country I am living in. In Fairfax Wilson would be considered "hood".  Or look at the agonizing about TC Williams in Alexandria, or about Wakefield HS in Arlington.  And thats in the "liberal" parts of inner NoVa, not say suburban Milwaukee.

As for Banneker, I guess a lot of people don't want to be the "only". I hear thats true for many African Americans as well. [/quote]
