This is quite unbelievable. I say this only because I feel I have to: I was tagged gifted, I'm a national merit scholar, and my kids are both in magnet programs. I have experience; you don't want to hear it. So you resort to that stupid old canard about my kids and me being stupid.

Yes, we get it. Those of us with older gifted kids are either (a) trolls, (b) really stupid and just lying about having gifted kids, or (c) not qualified to talk on DCUM because ... why was that? Oh, right, you say that DCUM is not a democracy and you folks with precocious four-year- olds get to decide whose experience is valid and whose isn't.
