Ok I’m sorry but this is insane. You want people to think Penny was appointed head of school because a SCOTUS Justice and the Marriotts were upset about an alum’s testimony at his confirmation hearing? This is just straight up conspiracy.

The Marriott names were placed on buildings decades ago. In fact the Marriott Library name was effectively removed when they remodeled it last year, and it's now named after the former HOS (Jones), as part of the Learning Commons. The Marriott's name is also on a classroom (actually in honor of someone else, Puckett), but that's hardly big bucks.

What's next, tracing it all back to President Ford? He gave the commencement speech in the 70s because his daughter graduated from there. [/quote]
