Gross.
Another woman? Please. It’s pretty rare that women are taken down over things like this. How many can you actually name?
The Coldplay lady seemed to take a lot more heat than the man. Amanda Batula is getting more heat than West Wilson. Those are both current.
A few rare women. This is not a trend and by far more men’s careers are ruined. It’s only fair that women get to play by the same rules.
I have no problem with people playing by the same rules, which doesn't seem to be happening here or in the other cases above. Those women were demonized more than the men. If you take a famous man and a no-name woman, then sure, the public fallout is going to be greater for the famous man because no one cares about the no-name woman. In the examples above, both couples had the same level of fame (or lack thereof) and the woman got way more slaughtered. Society absolutely holds woman to a higher standard than men. It's wild that you can't acknowledge that.
it's wild you're using this case to make your point. She quit because she knows she was in the wrong. Take it up with her.
You seem to have a pretty hard time grasping the point here. I'm not saying she isn't in the wrong. I'm not even saying she shouldn't be more "in trouble" than Vrabel in this case, given the difference in their careers. But I think she's in far more "trouble" than he is, and part of that is due to the fact that women are blamed more than men in these situations. If Kamala Harris had had three husbands, she wouldn't have even been the presidential candidate. Meanwhile, look who's in the Oval Office.
Kamala's not the best example given her dating history.
Congrats. You are proving the PP’s point.
You are welcome to put the reporter on a pedestal. Nobody else has to and nobody is celebrating Vrabel either.
Nobody is doing that sooooo…
Soooo what's your problem? You probably weren't one of her readers before but now she's suddenly very interesting?
I DGAF about her. This thread however is disgusting.
You can see yourself out. Getting upset about some philanderers is a pretty poor choice on your part.
I'm not upset by the reporter or the coach. I don't know them or work with them so not my circus. They are consenting adults and will likely face marital/professional consequences from their actions. The woman does not need a public lynching over this though.
Where are you seeing "lynching" but as a public figure you realize that people are more likely to talk than if she was just some mom from the car pool pickup line, right?
