Taylor just wants to swing his dick around
How do you think it became a “public letter”? Taylor didn’t release it.
Thanks for sharing that, CO staff member. It"s Saturday night, relax, take some time off, maybe the problem is you are burnt out and that is why MCPS's public communications are such a sh&t show
How do you think the letter became public?
Probably through a PIA request right? Because, the letter is legally subject to public disclosure - written by a public SERVANT to publicly elected officials - all taxpayer funded.
Not likely PIA. That process takes much longer. It must have been either a sender or a recipient (or agent of) intentionally sending to the press. Mink had a lot more to fam from doing that than Taylor did.
Because he sent a letter to all her colleagues that clearly referenced her actions without naming her. Everyone he addressed it to knew he was referring to her in several parts of the meandering letter.
I want to make sure I understand, you agree it was likely Minke that made it “public” and not Taylor? (And thank you for understanding my typo in the PP!)
I have no idea who made it public, but Taylor wrote a letter addressed to "elected leaders of Montgomery County" containing false accusations about one of the leaders, so he was essentially attacking her publicly and passive aggressively.
This is all just...false.
I mean it definitely made it sound like Mink is coming by unannounced and giving advice that hasn't been reviewed by MCPS staff.
It in no way mentioned Mink, and it said that informal visits have become commonplace lately, so it is likely meant to address a larger issue than just one person's actions.
When I first saw the post on Adam's blog I thought it might be about a different official's visit to our local elementary school. Then I read the letter, and it was clear it was not about that. It seemed very fixated on the immigration issues. The one official that has been publicly meeting with MCPS communities about immigration is Mink.
It was "fixated" on the immigration issue because it was ABOUT the immigration issue. It included protocols on visits to schools along with a LOT of other information on how MCPS is handling that issue.
It was about how Councilmember Mink is addressing immigration issues in schools by meeting with MCPS communities about how to respond if ICE comes to the school
