Asylum seekers are supposed to be detained while their claims are considered. Trump is following the law. The people not following the law were Biden and Democrats who unleashed their open borders catastrophe on the country during Biden’s presidency. Democrats are a party that is anti-law enforcement and pro-open borders. That is obvious from their recent crusade against ICE. Do they really think they are gaining voters with this agenda? They are motivating a lot of people to vote against them.
That’s some serious copium. Everyone except MAGA thinks Trump has gone too far and strongly disapproves of Herr Miller’s concentration camp strategy. Turns out attacking kids and killing white ladies is a bad electoral strategy.
That’s not true, the vast majority of Republicans and a sizable number of independents approve of his actions. And even if what you sad is true, the country still doesn’t trust Democrats on immigration. Polls show Republicans are far more trusted on the issue. And even the liberal NYT poll showed a majority of voters approve of his border polices and efforts to deport illegal immigrants. All of the phony stories the liberal media has planted still hasn’t made voters want your open borders agenda.
DP. Here’s a shorter, simpler version: Trump’s immigration policies don’t have majority approval right now. - Recent 2026 polls (NYT, Pew, Reuters/Ipsos, etc.) show more Americans disapprove (50–58%) than approve (38–44%) of how he’s handling immigration overall. - Mass deportations are split or losing support: roughly 49% support vs. 49% oppose in recent surveys (Marist, others). Earlier higher support has dropped. - Republicans strongly back him (80–90%), but independents and the overall public are divided or leaning against the aggressive approach. - True, Republicans are still trusted more than Democrats on immigration in many polls, but that hasn’t turned into broad public approval of Trump’s specific actions. As ICE continues to use excessive force, expect support for Trump’s immigration policies to decrease.
