[/quote] Because the precursor ingredients for fentanyl come from China and are then shipped to Mexico, where the cartels turn it into a lethal drug, and then take it across the border, usually via US citizens. Venezuela has nothing to do with fentanyl. Typically, the Venezuelan gangs take cocaine from Colombia and are an intermediate step to get it to Europe. I think Pete Hegseth is just looking for something to do in between his panic attacks. He is very unstable. And sending the US Navy to blow up small boats in the Caribbean is what he's settled on.
