I won't presume that your opinion is the same, but I suspect that most of us would be less concerned if a driver swerves into an Amazon delivery truck carrying our package than if a driver swerves into a schoolbus carrying our children.[/quote]

I actually saw a school bus get rear-ended a number of years ago. It was a bright sunny day, but I guess the driver just didn’t notice that the bus was stopping. Neither vehicle appeared to have more than a slight dent. Not saying that accidents are okay, and I did want schools to be closed today, but the reality is that there is some risk of accidents in any weather. [/quote]

Yup, this happened to my kids bus. Bright sunny fall day and some lady rear ended their school bus on a flat road. Accidents happen, kids were fine.

But today all the busses and all the kids were totally fine. FCPS made the right call. Some of you have serious, serious problems.[/quote]
