[/quote] As somebody who has watched the revolving door of teachers in recent years, I’m definitely going to disagree with you. I’ve watched so many quit mid-year, only to be replaced with an equally revolving door of subs. This includes plenty of career changers with your “higher demand” skills. And that means instruction becomes broken or nonexistent for the students. So while you see teachers as “resentful,” I see them as committed and concerned. You can’t fix problems without first speaking about them. And I’ll take one of your “resentful” teachers any day for my own children.
