BUT any absence for religious observance is excused. No one is penalized for being out, for example, Christmas Eve or Diwali.

Teacher work days are on less important Federal holidays [b](no a teacher shouldn’t have to work Labor Day but Columbus Day seems fair) [/b]or Election Day. [/quote]
