Joe didn't dump her. She left him because he was a depressed man, and apparently very boring. She missed the fire and butterflies she felt with Matty Healy (“my wild boy and this wild joy”), so she ran to him straight out the slammer. Matty did dump her however because he couldn’t deal with her crazy fans and all the PR bs that comes with her.

Joe quiet quit. Couldn’t have been that boring and inconsequential since she wrote with him and wrote, at a minimum, invisible string and getaway car about him.

Thinking more about this. Yea, 100% Travis is in love with the brand (not the artist and probably not the person). Matty is likely is love with the artist. Her problem is finding someone in love with the person when no one can see past her brand or her talent. [/quote]
