Paramount is a working class Latino city. Not poor, but proudly working and middle class. Lots of home owners and small business owners with guns.

This was actually a strategically bad move by ICE. These people actually do know their rights, they have means to organize. The people in these videos are 2nd and 3rd gen American citizens.

ICE went to Paramount because they want this plastered on the news. The farm raids were not getting enough press, because those folks are legit migrants in rural areas employed by white conservative business owners.

But Paramount? ICE is gonna catch a bullet if they don’t pull out. They are messing with American citizens there.[/quote]

Tell me you’re not from Southern California without telling me you’re not from Southern California.

Many Latino people in SoCal have ancestors who been in that area since the land was still Mexico. “Mexican-American” pride is crazy strong in SoCal. Just like how Cuban Americans in Miami have a massive amount of pride.

They don’t want Big Government ICE terrorizing their neighborhoods. Those agents of Big Government should go back home to the IE and Norco and stay gone.[/quote]
