The MAGA people in my feed are actually reminiscing fondly and posting videos/links to books about how awesome the economy was back under Andrew Jackson and how all we have to do to get back to that Golden Age is let Trump eliminate federal taxes and levy enormous tariffs. Guess they all think they’re going to be the robber barons and not the thousands crushed to death in their mines, factories, and mills, or shot by Pinkertons. [/quote]
